Companies are increasingly reliant on mobile technology for their business activity. The number of laptop computers is on the rise and no longer limited to senior management but to all remote workers. IT departments are now obliged to protect laptops which contain a growing amount of mission-critical data. Synerway’s FileSafe module answers the protection needs of remote laptops.

The advantages of the FileSafe module:

		Add-on module for laptop protection, Synerway’s FileSafe provides file/directory/disk-level backup.
		The solution is simple to configure, enabling individual file selection or filtered file selection. Only the critical data you select to protect is backed up.
		FileSafe uses block mode for a level of protection particularly adapted to laptop protection because these machines are infrequently connected to the local network or to a low-bandwidth WAN.

		Several levels of protection are available. Backup is performed regularly to multiple storage points on local, regional or national sites and also to the Synerway Appliance.
		Restoration via a Windows type interface, accessible by a simple right-click. Users can also restore their own files themselves without calling on the IT department for help.
