VMware Agent

For the protection of your VMware virtual machines, Synerway has created a high-performance backup and restoration solution called VMware Ultimate for the number one virtualisation platform on the market.

At the heart of your VMware architecture composed of heterogeneous virtual machines, the Synerway solution enables you to back up, externalise and restore an unlimited number of virtual machines on each VMware ESX Server.

According to your needs, the Synerway solution enables you to:

		Back up and restore complete systems in the event of a virtual machine loss or after a major incident with either physical or virus damage (Disaster Recovery),
		Back up and restore objects down to file level.

Your VMware data are backed up to the Appliance disks (Datastore) and can be externalised to LTO tape, removable RDX disk or to another Appliance over the network to ensure your Disaster Recovery Plan in the event of a major incident.

Hyper-V Agent

The protection of Hyper-V virtual machines is performed with the ASM Universal BMR (Bare Metal Restore) Agent. This enables the complete protection of the Hyper-V server, including all its virtual machines on the Synerway Appliance disks.

Regular incremental backups are performed with no impact on the production virtual machines. Restorations are very straightforward – simply select a virtual machine version you want to restore to the existing – or new - Hyper-V server.
