The Synerway Range of Appliances: solutions for powerful backups
 
Physical and virtual Synerway Appliances protect your data, applications, mail servers and systems.
These backup solutions cover work stations, laptops and critical servers whether they are connected to the local network or low-bandwidth WAN.
With the Synerway Appliance, you have a unique and global backup solution for your heterogeneous environments: Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac Os, Hyper-V, VMware and OpenBSD.
Backup Solution

A flexible, complete and unique solution
The physical Synerway Appliance is a ready-to-use backup solution which requires no additional software or hardware to function. It means you no longer need to juggle with complex compatibility guides, source of difficulties and multiple constraints. Equipped with the latest generation 2 TB server disks (RAID 1, 5 or 6), with a recognized depth of functionality, the Appliance, a robust and reliable backup solution giving you all the advantages of only dealing with a single supplier.
 
The Synerway range comprises 3 series of models: SA for sites under 2 TB, MA up to 6 TB and lastly the LA models for volumes up to 38 TB UDC per Appliance.
Backup Solution

A backup solution which offers multi-level protection (D2D, D2D2N, D2D2T/D2D2D)
The Synerway Appliance performs a first level of native disk backup. It exploits the speed and efficiency of its disks and the network availability to dynamically manage several simultaneous backups to protect many machines in the shortest possible time.
Depending on company needs, the Appliance is available either as:
 
A pure backup solution to disk (D2D without media drive),
 
or a backup solution to disk with externalisation via the network (D2D2N),
 
Or lastly as a backup solution to disk with externalisation to LTO tape or removable RDX disk (D2D2T/D2D2D).

The Virtual Appliance
The latest version of the Synerway Appliance – the SVA (Synerway Virtual Appliance) shares the same features as the physical Appliance. It uses the shared resources of a virtualisation infrastructure (VMware or Hyper-V). Each SVA offers a backup solution which enables you to back up increments of 1 TB of data.
If the infrastructure does not have a virtualised environment, Synerway proposes the SVA Pack which includes an SVA and an integrated open-source virtualised environment.
The Synerway range answers the needs of SMEs, local authorities and, in particular multi-site corporations looking for simplified administration and rapid deployment on hard-to-reach sites.
